Mums & Bubs Reformers and Rehab is a small group exercise session led by one of our Women’s Health Physios.

With individualised programs (because every pregnancy and beyond is different!) this is a safe and effective way to exercise during and after pregnancy. This class will enable us to challenge you, relieve pain or just relax and unwind – whatever your body needs! Reformers and Rehab is a unique way of building strength, flexibility, and movement control.

A Reformers and Rehab session may incorporate exercises using equipment such as a reformer, trapeze table, free weights, fit ball, floor mats, or an exercise bike just to name a few. It all depends on your specific movement issues and goals.

What is Involved?

We currently run one Mums & Bubs group a week on a Tuesday morning, which runs for an hour. We keep our group numbers small, to ensure that each participant is closely supervised and guided by one of our highly trained physiotherapists.

This group is suitable for both pregnant mums and those with young babies. If your baby is not yet crawling you are welcome to bring them to the session with you. If you are unable to make this class you are welcome to join one of our other classes instead (see timetable below).

In order to join, you will need to attend a 1-hour initial assessment with one of our physiotherapists. During this hour session, your physiotherapist will conduct a thorough assessment of your technique and movement patterns. They will then prescribe and guide you through a series of individually tailored exercises that you will be performing in the small group sessions.

The class is suitable from 6 weeks post-partum (subject to a 6 week check with your physio). Please discuss your needs with our reception team on booking.
